Hello, PLL fans, I’ve decided that I would continue to watch Pretty Little Liars! Episode 3.04 was so good that it made me want to keep watching. And I don’t regret my choice since 3.05 was just as great as 3.04 (not as funny, though).

Emily and Paige at Jenna’s party

The episode started with Spencer, Aria, and Emily going out and talking about Hanna and how she is depressed after losing Caleb. Understandable, I’d be really depressed if I lost him, he’s such a sweetheart. And I don’t blame him for leaving Hanna. I mean, I know she was scared to tell him about A and stuff, but she should know better from last year and she did kind of push him away. Anyway, Aria says she’s feeling guilty about the whole thing and they talk a little more until they see an ambulance arrive at Garrett’s house. They see his mom being taken to the ambulance and Aria sees a person wearing a hoodie. Assuming that no one in Rosewood but A can wear a hoodie, the girls make up a theory that A wanted Garrett’s mom out of the house.

The next day, Aria and Ezra are leaving a coffee shop and it seems like Aria bought a little more than she should for Ezra and he gets a little offended because she was “feeding” him. Apparently he has one lime on his fridge that is growing fur. Even though I laughed at this and thought Ezra had the right to be a little offended, I get Aria, she was just trying to help him. Then, when she’s getting in the car to get a ride from Ezra, she sees Lucas being kicked out of a building, asking to get in there again and to get his stuff back. Oh, Lucas, where has the sweet boy we all loved gone to?

Meanwhile, at school, Emily asks Paige if she wants to go see the Katy Perry movie with her. It’s so good to see Em moving on! But it was such an awkward conversation, especially because Paige thought Emily was avoiding her. Kind of like: “Hey do you want to go to the movies with me?” “Weren’t you avoiding me?” “No. Yes. Well, yes but not on purpose.” “K, cool, let’s go.” And Emily cancelled later, so they didn’t even went out. And Jenna revealed to everybody that she’s not blind anymore. Apparently she told people that she did another surgery and that this one worked. What a liar. But everyone lies on this show, so. And I have to admit I think Jenna is not part of the A Team but I am curious as to what is going on with her.

As for Hanna, she’s not even thinking of going to school because she’s still to sad to do so. Then her mom says that they are going to help in a sale at the church and that Hanna’s going. They talk and she leaves saying that she’s going to school (in sweat pants) but as soon as her mom leaves, she enters home again.

Back to school, Emily and Spencer are talking about Jenna and Emily wants to confront her but Spencer doesn’t let her. Then the girls discuss the idea of Lucas being the one who took the pictures of them at the graveyard because the building Lucas was trying to enter is a photography studio where Aria had classes and because they saw Lucas there that night. And Garret is getting a free pass to visit his mom at the hospital (with guards and handcuffs) but Spencer thinks that A got his mom in the hospital so they could meet. And Spencer basically said what I said in here, that Mona isn’t the only one who owns a black hoodie. She may have said this with a different meaning than mine, but at least someone realised that. Then Jenna comes over to them and give them invitations to her birthday party.

Speaking of the party, it’s going to be at Emily’s new work and she’s going to have to waitress at it. That’s why she cancels on Paige. She’s going to pour coffee to Laurel Tuchman, the photographer of Jenna’s party, and she over hears their conversation about Laurel’s old assistant also known as Lucas. Then, Nate, Maya’s cousin, bursts into the coffee-house mad about Garrett being let out. They argue about that and, after Emily gets back to work, Jenna sends Nate flirtatious looks.

Back to Spencer’s place, Aria is still on the feeding Ezra subject. I love that we got some good old PLL funny moments. Then they go to the Jenna’s party subject and apparently Ezra also got invited. Weird. Anyway, Spencer is breaking into her mom’s e-mail to find out what hour is Garret going to be released. That would be a piece of cake to me, I know all of my mom’s passwords, lol.

We move to Emily and Paige rescheduling the movies for next week and Paige helps Emily to get dress. Super awkward sexual tension – to me at least – but it there. Sometimes I think that they have more chemistry than Emily and Maya, but I don’t know, most of the times I get back to thinking that Maya and Emily were meant to be together (I’ve always shipped them). They talk about Jenna’s party and Paige finds Emily’s bottle, the same one she drank from that night, on her closet, still with some drink on it. Then Emily gave it to Paige and she kept it. Meanwhile, Nate is drawing, still on the coffee-house, and Jenna flirts with him… or maybe it’s just me. It’s so weird to see Jenna looking at people that every time she looks at Nate I think she’s flirting with him.

Hanna and Spencer talk about Hanna helping out at the church, and then Aria joins the conversation and they talk about Lucas and how they think he’s the one who took the pictures of them in the graveyard. While everyone doesn’t want to go the party, Aria says she wants to. And then we see all the girls’ plans. First there’s Hanna at the church. She is not given much attention as her mom is, though, when we see Ashley and her possible future love interest share a cookie. I admit, Ezria has always been my last ship on Pretty Little Liars but this scene was so sweet! Ezra gives Aria a camera that she loves and, even though they have a reservation, Ezra agrees in going to Jenna’s party. Spencer is having a pleasant night watching Garrett at the hospital and everything seemed ok until he writes a note. Well, that’s ok to me, since people usually write notes to relatives on the hospital, but that caught Spencer’s attention. Sadly, she had to leave because Wilden arrived. Wilden always screws everything up, seriously.

Emily is already waitressing at Jenna’s party when Paige arrives. They talk for only a minute before Emily has to get back to work. Meanwhile, Hanna gets a new box of clothes and Emily’s jacket from that night was in it! She was going to take it, but her possible future step father makes her pay for it. Back to the party, Emily talks to Nate for a while and Paige sees it. Maybe she was jealous (without reason) but she drinks from the little bottle Emily gave her earlier. Aria and Ezra arrive and they have a brief conversation with Jenna before Aria goes over to Laurel Tuchman to say hi. Laurel basically says that the camera Ezra gave Aria was very expensive, leaving her with a troubled expression. We move to Emily in the kitchen. Paige follows her and seems jealous again until Aria arrives and she gets out. Then, she spills drink on Laurel’s equipment and says that she’s getting into her studio tonight.

As for Spencer, she’s at home, texting Hanna about what happened in the hospital and Toby arrives. They kiss and I fangirl talk about Jenna’s party and then about how Jenna faked being blind for so long. Then they start kissing again and I fangirl way too much. At the party, Paige drinks more and Ezra finds Aria saying that they’ve gotta go but Aria ditches him again, stating that Emily has to say something to her. Meanwhile, Jenna and Nate are talking when she sees Paige putting her finger in her cupcakes and licking and stuff and goes over there to tell her to stop. Emily arrives and Paige tries to make her dance with her but she says she can’t so Paige dances by herself… until she falls and hit her head. Then Nate and Emily take her to the hospital. Hanna arrives and Emily asks Nate to get some coffee for them. They talk about the jacket and how maybe Jenna wasn’t the only person Emily saw that night and Hanna has to go back to the church.

Back to Aria, she goes into the kitchen looking for Emily but Ezra gets in too. They argue about money but Ezra says that he got a job and that was why they were eating out, to celebrate. Then, Laurel gets in, sees her ruined equipment and freak out, which leaves Aria the opportunity she was waiting for: she offers herself to go into Laurel’s studio and take more negatives for her. And so she does, but obviously she went through Lucas’s things first. She took his negatives and, when she was leaving, he corners her and almost begs for the keys. I was almost thinking Lucas would hit Aria or something when Ezra arrived and he ran away, leaving the both with a facial expression Lucas is master at leaving people with.

See the similarity?

Back to the hospital, Nate asks Emily questions about her and Paige but – fortunately because the conversation couldn’t get more awkward – Spencer arrives wanting to go upstairs to see the card. While they were talking about it, Garrett appears in the elevator and Nate freak out and starts to hit Garrett. Spencer took advantage of the situation, of course. When Paige is released, she talks to Emily, who was still waiting, and she reveals that it wasn’t only the alcohol that made her faint, there was a sleeping drug on her drink. Which leads us to think that it was on Emily’s bottle! Meanwhile, Spencer enters Garrett’s mother’s room and turns out the card in the flowers was a normal card. Buuut there was a note under her hospital bracelet that said “April Rose has the proof”. Intriguing.

Already at home, Emily calls Aria and they talk about the negatives Aria took and Milozapam (the sleeping drug), which, when mixed with alcohol, causes memory loss. This seems familiar. Then, Aria asks how do the pills look like, Emily answers and Aria asks if they have the letters mzm on them. When Emily answers yes and asks how does Aria know that, we see that Aria is holding three of them and she says that they were in Lucas’s camera bag! Lucas was a little weird these days but I never thought he’d do something like that. We have to wait and see what will happen, really.

In the end, A goes through Emily’s purse. At least I think it’s hers because of the picture. But what was that medicine doing in her bag? A will totally use that against the girls. And that was it, a great episode of Pretty Little Liars. I admit I wasn’t a big fan of the first episodes, but now I’m really enjoying the show. See you next week, liars.
