Just in case you missed it, The CW added two of its 2011-2012 freshman dramas to Netflix Instant Watch availability a week ago on September 14th. Both supernatural witch drama The Secret Circle and Sarah Michelle Gellar soap opera vehicle Ringer have been added to the Netflix lineup several months after it was announced that neither series would have DVD releases.

Could these releases mean something official? Probably not. While there are listings on Amazon and rumored DVD covers, there hasn’t been any word from the horse’s mouth (not that I’ve heard of anyway). But more importantly, this was set to happen months ago when The CW inked a deal with Netflix to provide all of its shows airing in the 2011-2012 season to the lineup of titles. So, for those who want to rewatch their favorite cancelled CW series, now’s your chance. But you have all the time in the world, anyway. It’s not like they’re coming off Netflix any time soon.

The CW has also added new episodes of 90210 and The Vampire Diaries. It is expected to update the rest of its lineup and add Hart of Dixie soon.

I was pretty excited to find The Secret Circle on Netflix last weekend, and started re-watching the series right away…until yesterday when THE ENTIRE SERIES DISAPPEARED! It doesn’t even show up as something that I’ve previously viewed, what the heck!? And I was only on episode 8…no fair! Any idea what’s going on there?
