“Is that the secret agent that bugged your office?”
Last week, we left TK barreling down the highway, popping pills and not paying attention to the small child in the road. If you were worried she was going to be road kill (or that TK would injure himself and be back in the ER), you worried for nothing. Thankfully, TK managed to wreck his car and not the child. His neck hurts, but everyone lives. Yay.
At Hawks Central, Nico meets with Marshall’s lawyer and demands he produce the Hawks’ troubled owner. Not to worry, Marshall’s due to be back in town for the first game tomorrow. I hope he’s worked on his coping skills because Nico is super pissed about the bugs and being blacked mailed. Not to mention is ire due to Dr.…

“Not my first BBQ, Nico.”
Dr. Danni is setting up for Jeanette’s baby shower. Jeanette is pouting that her Baby Daddy isn’t attending due to the fact that 1) he lives in Spain and 2) he’s got a big reviewer coming to eat at his restaurant. Somehow Dr.…

COTW: Another week, another case of the week. Dr. Danni counsels a bull rider who has some trouble letting go. We all believe this is because his dad, also a bull rider, was killed by a bull when Cowboy was just 4 and Dad wasn’t even 30. Cowboy is about to turn 30 so Dr.…

“Take off your pants. Pronto.”
This week, Dr. Danni gets to argue with her ex about using the kid’s college fund for trips to Hawaii and parenting styles. Lucky for her, her bestie, Jeanette is back in town after spending sometime with her boytoy in Spain. Jeanette excitedly shows off her new Spanish skills (which include the basics – take off your clothes) and insists they have a summer of fun.…

“Are you, or are you not, the real deal?”
After last week’s cuts, this week the Coach and MattyD are looking for college seniors they may be able to draft and then mold into Hawks. We come in on Damien Razer’s – played by Gaius Charles, who will forever be Smash from Friday Night Lights to me – tryout. As if Necessary Roughness knows they overlap with FNL fans, they make it clear. Damien Razer isn’t Smash Williams. He benches horribly and we’re supposed to wonder if NotSmash will even be considered for the team.…

“I don’t wanna talk…I wanna drink.”
Marshall Pittman is obsessed with alcohol, name dropping and messing with his employee’s heads in this episode. He starts out with Nico, offering fine whiskey, but ends up drinking alone. Nico suggests they talk about Gabrielle, but Marshall says he doesn’t want to talk, but then suggests that neither of them would be enough for Gabrielle. Now Nico doesn’t want to talk about it, but Marshall continues, explaining that Gabrielle will do anything to take away the only thing that means more to him than money. For those of you thinking that it might be Juliet, daughter of Gabrielle and Marshall-or-Nico, it’s not. It’s his team, the New York Hawks. Despite his intense game of hide and seek for Juliet last week, Nico let’s this comment pass with no remark. Oh Nico, I was hoping you’d deck him. Instead, Marshall charges him with protecting the Hawks by any means necessary and Nico seems to agree by picking up his glass so Marshall doesn’t have to drink alone.…
