30 Rock first look: Jenna channels her inner Simon Cowell

30 Rock‘s season six premieres Thursday, January 12th (which I learned from viewing our handy premiere dates list) — and Liz Lemon’s hiding a secret. She won’t be telling what that is even if Jack may be trying to figure it out. After six years, he knows her pretty well. Or so he says after guessing what her holiday consisted of perfectly.

Jack, meanwhile, might be suffering from nightmares of his daughter’s future in which she’s belittled during a singing competition in which Jenna basically channels her inner Simon Cowell. Now, I’m not positive it’s a dream, but given his daughter’s rapid age progression and the setup: it seems that way.
