So late last night, I made a stupid post speculating that the Gossip Girl showrunners were going to reveal who the titular character was during the show’s epic 100th episode. Then, I revealed that I sincerely thought it would be the real Charlie Rhodes. The only problem with that is that Charlie hasn’t been a character for a long time, and real Charlie hasn’t even been on the show for more than one minute collectively. (You know, unless she’s really Gossip Girl that is…)
But, what I should have been asking is the following: Who do you think is Gossip Girl? Or even who do you wish would be Gossip Girl (if and when that secret is revealed, I still think it’s going to be in the next episode but someone told me it might be that Charlie and Serena are half-sisters, which is a better speculation theory)?
I’ve limited the selection to only the characters of the female persuasion currently on the show, because, well, just because. So vote! And then tell us in the comments why you chose who you chose!

Charlotte "Lola" Rhodes, because what other secret could be so awful when she's obviously doing fine in New York City? And she knows them but they don't know her. And she ships herself with Nate just like GG does. DONE! Gossip Gate for the win.
Me too. I really think they're setting it up for it to be her. Even if she's Serena's half-sister, that just gives her more reason to hate her. IDK. It would be kind of a letdown that the character we hardly knew existed is the mastermind behind everything. BUT who else could it be really?

Think it probably is the real Charlie, and yeah think the Serena sibling theory is sound, since they have already said that Daddy Baldwin Van der Woodsen will be turning up later this season too. I would like GG to be Georgina just for the sheer wickedness but she's been out smarted and out the loop too many times for that to work.
If they get rid of Kristen's voice IF GG is revealed, I'll stop watching. -___-
The only person it could conceivably be is Penelope, IMO. She's the only one who has been around the whole time. Even when she was MIA in S3, she was attending Columbia.
I guess it could be the new Charlie aka Lola, but I don't think that would be gasp-worthy at all. I also feel like they have no intention of revealing the real Gossip Girl anytime soon so this is probably all just a bunch of hype. :)
I say one of the minions, only because it's the only thing that makes sense to me personally. If Ivy was Gossip Girl.... -_- The writers should get shot. Because that's the stupidest shit I have ever heard. Ivy is a good liar and she has good taste in evening wear. That's all she brings to the table, imo. She cannot possibly be Gossip Girl.

I want Kristen Bell to pop up, pleaase writers, and seriously she is the one giving the voice. She deserves it, the plot is already bad so no one would notice anything bad with this :)

Kristin Bell makes no sense at all. She is just the voice for us viewers, she has nothing to do with the UES.
