Previously, we posted that the Canadian promo for this episode makes it appear as though Chuck and Georgina scheming against Dan will cause Blair to default on her marriage and thus bankrupt her. The promo also heavily suggests that Dan and Blair will become a couple of sorts, which in of itself is a radical change in the dynamic.
But what else is there? In another sneak peek (embedded below), provided by Zap2It, Charlie “Lola” Rhodes and Ivy Dickens meet up at what appears to be CeCe’s wake. Georgina joins their conversation and assures them that “On the Upper East Side, money is never the real story.”
“It’s usually the X that marks the spot for what’s buried beneath it,” she continues. “Money doesn’t explain why you hide your daughter for 18 years.”
Does having your daughter be the lovechild of your sister’s husband explain it well enough? And is William van der Woodsen’s perfect timing to enter that scene at that exact moment a hint or a clue? In the CW version of the promo, William states that he came to the wake with CeCe’s will and testmanet in hand (because, you know, doctors always have that stuff with them… not lawyers or anything) and Carol’s reaction shot is anything but pleased. Could CeCe have known of this secret which will now be divulged? Or was it just clever editing?
One thing’s we can count on: that will is surely going to unleash a secret or two. My hope’s that CeCe knew about Ivy being a fraud all along.

That would actually make her a bit less boring... but still I prefer Ivy :)
I have a wild theory. Maybe Lola or Ivy could have been fathered by Bart Bass. Doesn't Chuck have a family story arc coming up? My recollections are hazy.
