Quick news briefs: Carrie Diaries & Selection first look, Battlestar Galactica canceled, Smash renewed

A lot can happen in one week in TV land.  So let’s get on with it.

Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome has been cancelled, despite that very cool trailer released earlier this week. It’s not sure whether this show will return as a webseries or not… only time will tell. Are you sad to see this one go?

The CW has released their first official promotional photos for their pilots of Arrow and The Carrie Diaries. I’m sure we’ll get to see the other promotional pictures pretty soon.

This picture (to the right) is pretty cute, at first I thought this would be basically Gossip Girl 2.0. Maybe they will focus more on the cute factor and not on the scandalous factor. Probably not. Oh well! One can dream…

Are you seeing the similarities between AnnaSophia Robb and Sarah Jessica Parker ?

Also , a lot of set pictures of the CW pilot The Selection have been popping up.  How cool is this location (to the right)?

I’m pretty exited for this one.

You can see all the set photos Hollywood North Location website, but try not to mind the massive watermark on every picture. As a photographer myself, I really despise people who are still using this thing to prevent people from stealing their photos. There are so many better ways to prevent this. God!

NBC renewed Smash for a second season! Yay! One less show to worry about! Now they have to renew Community right? Right? But on the other hand, Smash showrunner Theresa Rebeck has decided to leave the show for theater.
