Snooki & JWOWW recap: What perfect timing!

Snooki and JWOWW are still basking in the glow of seeing their first glimpse of baby Snooks and in order to process it all, the girls stop at a late night diner to discuss everything. Snooki suggests they invite their Jersey Shore roommates over so she can share her news with them. But JWOWW was worried about decorating before the others come to visit (why, I don’t know. We all have seen how these people live and it won’t take much to impress them), so the next morning she gets to work making sure their house is finished, even though this is technically going to be Snooki’s party. Of course, her shopping consists mostly of buying things that are made of animal print because as we learned from their last shopping excursion, these girls have no taste when it comes to interior decorating.

The girls have a handyman named Anthony come over to help them drape (although he is not a hot black guy, as Jenni promised) while the girls paint.  He comments that it looks like “a little zoo” in their apartment, but the girls are quick to point out that PETA can’t get mad at them, because nothing is actually made of fur.  The girls ask Anthony about his sexual past, in the hope of making him blush, but they are the ones who end up embarrassed when he goes into deep detail about his experience with a girl (I kind of wish I knew what his story was. Unfortunately the vast majority was unsuitable for television and had to be bleeped out, which really only made me more curious).

The day of the roommate party begins bright and early at 11am.  Before the guests arrive, the girls sit for a photo of them looking sexy and ‘hard’ that will be turned into a painting to decorate their walls. Then they are off to order a cake with a special message on it “I’m pregnant,” Snooki tells us it is going to say, “Dig in!” Surprise!

But when the girls get home, Handyman Anthony’s draping is all falling apart and the girls are upset, putting the party’s fate in jeopardy.  Luckily, Handyman Brian is available to come over and fix Handyman Anthony’s mistakes. In the hour before the guests arrive, Handyman Brian tidies up the draping, the cake arrives, and the girls clean the apartment; and it all finishes just in time!

Pauly arrives first, which is good, because just a short while later, the girls’ furniture arrives and he is able to help them unwrap it and set it up. Again, what perfect timing! Everyone else arrives soon after (except for Mike, who was not invited. This should not be surprising to anyone who watched Jersey Shore and knows of the drama he caused for Snooki) and the party begins! Snooki is drinking cranberry juice out of a wine glass, in an effort to convince her friends that she is drinking alcohol, even though it looks nothing like wine. What, these girls couldn’t get any grape juice? Or she couldn’t just say she was drinking a cranberry-vodka? I guess quick thinking isn’t her thing, huh?

The best part of the whole episode had to be the Boyfriends, Pauly and Vinnie, reuniting and using Snooki’s bedroom to get reacquainted and sitting next to each other for dinner. I love these two! I will never understand why Vinnie wasn’t on the Pauly D Project. Never.

Over dinner (which everyone is surprised to see was actually cooked by the girls), Snooks tells the JShore roomies that she is engaged, which is met with shock and questions. The guys can’t believe she is going to commit to one person for the rest of her life. But Snooki assures them that she loves Jionni’s penis and stands up for her man, despite the roommates’ jokes. Even Jenni is laughing a bit, which is upsetting to Nicole. Hopefully this doesn’t affect their friendship! Oh who am I kidding? These two will be besties for life!

Unfortunately we don’t get to see the roommates’ reaction to Snooki’s other news until next week, which will also include more Roger and Jionni bonding!! It is going to be great, I already know it.
