Showtime releases Homeland season 2 trailer with all-new clips

There have been a few spots here and there (and a trailer with all season one clips, which was like…why even?) for season 2 of Homeland, but the network finally released a trailer today on YouTube with all-new clips from the second season. The video at just over 90 seconds long is a very subdued — almost silent — montage of events for the upcoming season (well, I’m assuming).

Classy, intriguing, and always mysterious, the second season of Homeland looks to be quite promising based off this trailer alone. Although it wasn’t the trailer I was exactly looking for, I’m basically taking all the Homeland I can get…until it premieres Sunday, September 30th at 10pm, that is. Besides, this trailer has left us with so many hanging threads and questions and the season hasn’t even premiered! WHAT IS GOING ON?

Is it September 30th yet?

  • This is awesome! I can't wait! Carrie & Brody teaming up! Saul! Dana! Only one I don't look forward to seeing is Jess. She's so blah for me even though I hate to condone adultery.Do you want to be slightly spoiled or no? I read a great interview with the writers that gives some basic directions on path of S2.
