Snooki & JWoWW recap: Being Snooki is a 24/7 job

Guys, this is it! It is finally the week where little Lorenzo (almost) makes his big debut! Really, it’s actually all just the lead up to the actual birth, but still! Last week we saw Snooki feeling miserable and uncomfortable at Sunday dinner and she was just ready to have her pregnancy over, and luckily soon enough she gets her wish. Luckily, when she is feeling her lowest Jionni is there to give her a pep talk.  Just when I think those two can’t get any cuter they have little moments like that.

While Snooki is sobbing, JWoww and Roger are having a small barbeque with some friends and JWoww’s dad, who apparently has some mad game and puts his moves on one of Jenni’s friends (who is a DJ. Classy).  Poppa Woww is partying in the hot tub and making penis jokes and it becomes abundantly obvious where Jenni got it from.  Like father, like daughter.

The next day my two favorite juiceheads, Jionni and Roger, meet up to hit some golf balls at the driving range.  Roger isn’t much of a golfer and just swings the club as hard as he can with his giant man muscles.  This is the one moment when Jionni can actually feel superior to the guy.  Plus one for Jionni! (For the first, and possibly last, time ever)

Snooki and Jionni decide to make a dry run to the hospital so they are prepared for the real thing, and Nicole wants it to be as realistic as possible, so they film it and call Jenni and everything.  It turns out that it was a good thing they did this dry run because Jionni gets lost on the four mile journey to the hospital.  Well, now they know for the real deal.  This is good.

After checking on the status of their baby furniture (which they still don’t have), Snooki and Jionni go to a Lamaze class where they learn about cleansing breaths and birthing positions.  The poor couple actually trying to learn stuff about giving birth have to suffer through Nicole and Jionni cracking poop jokes and giggling while the nurse lady is explaining the process.

The next day Snooki and JWoww go shopping for something for Snooki to wear home from the hospital after she gives birth.  When you’re Snooki you gots to look fab 24/7! Jenni wants to go try on wedding dresses after, but Snooki is too miserable and pregnant to do that, so instead she heads home.

And boy is it a good thing she did, because later that night her water finally breaks!! ……Or does it? They call the doctor because mucus is leaking from her vag, but it wasn’t like a ‘rush’ of liquid like they thought.  So since Nicole isn’t having labor pains, so the doctor tells them to wait a bit and call him back if it continues.  When it is day time they give the doc a call back and he says it seems like the real deal so they head over to his office to have him take a look.  So much for that rushed, frantic practice run to the hospital.

Instead the doctor tells them that it could be another 24 hours before she actually gives birth, so they go back home for her to be comfortable during her first few hours of labor.  When they finally head over to the hospital, Nicole is scared and in pain but still fully made up and looking up her usual diva self.  Like I said, being Snooki is an all day, year round job!

While they wait for the baby to come, Jenni and Roger go back to Snooki and Jionni’s place and set up a temporary crib for them, since their furniture hasn’t come yet.  Best friends are the best, aren’t they?  Snooki knows she is getting close because she feels like she has to take a giant poop, and even when the doctor assures her that is just the baby coming, Snooki is still very concerned about the going number 2 situation.

And just like that, when things are getting good, the episode comes to an end and we have to wait one more whole week to meet Lorenzo! UGH! What a tease.
