A little cameo treat in Kourtney & Kim Take Miami

Because of circumstances out of my control I am unable to watch my favorite reality TV family of all time live as their new episodes air (my roommate enjoys high-quality television like Downton Abbey. Sigh).  It sucks, but it means I get to enjoy the hours long marathons E! tends to show almost every weekend.

So on a recent Kourtney & Kim Take Miami marathon I realized something quite fascinating and amazing.  One of the plot points in the beginning of this season has been Scott’s new set of friends down in Miami.  Now what is so great about this group is that it includes two lesbians. Two very familiar lesbians, if you are a frequent watch of MTV reality shows (which everyone knows I am).  As I was watching the old episodes I realized that Scott has been hanging out with Rachel of Real World/Road Rules Challenge fame and Dani, the winner of the first season of A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila.  I recognized Rachel instantly and Dani looked super familiar, but it took a hot minute to place her, since it has been awhile since Tila Tequila was on non-pay-per-view television.

Guys, I can’t explain to you how much joy it brings me when reality stars pop up on other series.  Especially when those other series try to pretend that they are just normal everyday people.  Just when I thought I couldn’t love the Kardashian shows any more, Rachel and Dani made their appearance.  And every time they show up on screen my joy grows just a little more. Don’t you just love it too?

  • OMG Dani! I remember her having the Bieber haircut before Justin Beiber was Justin Beiber!

  • Uhh...Dani was in the final two contestants, but she didn't win. That other dude did. I forgot what his name was, but he was tall and dark-haired and Tila dumped him immediately after.
