A&E renewed its modern day Psycho prequel Bates Motel today. The series’ second season will bow sometime in 2014 and consist of another 10 episodes. Pre-production on the second season will start at some point this year.
Bates Motel was the strongest drama series debut for the network, with over 4.5 million viewers after DVR numbers were factored in. We’re huge fans of Bates Motel here at NWN, so it’s good news. We get to see how else Norma can love her son into becoming a psycho murderer!
The fourth episode of the series airs tonight at 10pm.
