Here’s a music video that’s also a commercial for Gossip Girl Acapulco

I promised that I would keep you up to date to the Greatest Spanish-Language Adapted Show Of Our Time Gossip Girl Acapulco, and here’s my word. Above is a music video by Paty Cantú titled “Dicen Por Ahí” (or #dicenporahi, as they really want you to tweet it out), which literally translates to “they are saying around there,” but more accurately is probably “rumor has it.”

If you don’t speak Spanish, the song is basically saying: “Rumor has it… rumor has it. I want people to talk about me. I want people to love me.” And then it loops. But also, how perfectly Gossip Girl is that? It’s like they just took keywords to describe the show and put it in a song.

Oh, by the way, Univision announced that they were carrying this in the U.S. next year. Thank goodness!

Gossip Girl Acapulco is the gift that keeps on giving. I love it so much.

Thanks to Erin who told me about it:
