Hart of Dixie casting news: Meet Zoe’s “Dad”

According to TVline, Hart of Dixie has cast Zoe’s “dad” to appear in a multi-episode arc in the second half of the season. Remember how Zoe became a doctor to impress her surgeon dad but soon discovered that he actually wasn’t her biological father? Well, we’re finally getting the chance to meet that mysterious man. He’s going to be portrayed by the amazing GARY COLE!

When I think of Cole, The Good Wife quickly pops into my mind. (He played a ballistic expert & Diane Lockhart’s love interest; I shipped them so bad.) But the truth is Cole has appeared on many other shows including Desperate Housewives, True Blood, Psych, Supernatural, Suits, and many many more.

I’m actually very excited about Zoe (and us!) finally meeting her estranged father. We only got a glance of their relationship in the first couple of episodes, so I’m really glad the show’s finally digging into Zoe’s New York background the way it should (or at least I hope it is.)
