As we learned last week, our two favorite guidettes decided it would be fun to take a girls trip and spend spring break in Cancun; no boys allowed. Don’t get me wrong, I love that train wreck Ryder, but I missed Jionni and Roger. The show isn’t the same without them. But they will be back next week, so let’s just focus on the girls’ trip to Mexico.

On the day of the trip, Snooki and JWOWW are forced to wake up at their Seaside bedtime, aka 6am, and unfortunately Jenny has an awful toe tan line on her feet. Snooki reminds her that the TSA won’t make her take off her socks at the airport so no one will see it there, but I have no idea how she is going to hide it on the beach.

Ryder and some other friend who I don’t know (Yanice is her name, apparently) show up a short while later and the girls head off to the airport.  The girls have a ‘classy,’ ‘dope’ suite that looks out right over the beach. While they are walking around Ryder exclaims that she wants to move to a tropical island, and when Snooki tells her she should just move to Cancun, Snooks cannot believe that it is not actually an island, though she is correct that it is tropical. So at least she was half right.

Back at the hotel, poor Jenny was trying to do some personal grooming in the shower when the lights suddenly shut off in the bathroom.  The new girl is unconcerned with Jenny’s dilemma and instead demands to know where Jenni keeps her face wash. Clearly she is not as good a friend as Snooki. Where did she come from? Why was she invited on this trip?

The next day is Snooki’s Preggers Day, where the girls are going to do all the things that Nicole wants to do. First they head to the beach, where Snooki doesn’t want to go in the water and she doesn’t want to sit in the sun. So why was the beach included in Preggers Day? I have no clue.

The next stop is going to be the zoo, and before they go the girls stop at the souvenir shop, where Jenny finds some crocodile hats for the girls to wear because they are bringing Nicole’s stuffed Crocodilly to the zoo to meet his family. When the girls get to the zoo, they realize that the monkeys there roam free and will pull your hair (or extensions) if you get too close. Needless to say, lots of shrieks and screaming ensued. As the tour continues, the girls observed, with some amount of horror, that most of the animals roam free and they end up getting up close and personal with a whole bunch of different animals, included Snooki’s beloved crocodiles.

Later that night, before they head out to the club, the girls enjoy some Italian food (in Mexico) and watch some fire-twirling. During the dinner Snooki comments that she hasn’t yet seen the moon in Cancun, so she wonders if they have one. Legit question? For Snooki, yes. Don’t worry, JWOWW reminded her that there is only one moon, even if they hadn’t noticed it yet in Cancun.

At the club, pregnant Snooki is bored since she can’t drink and refuses to dance.  She explains that the trip is a learning experience for her, because she has never been to a club while pregnant and not drinking. I guess she does need to learn what to do. She will have to spend the whole summer in the Jersey Shore.  But when a fight breaks out on the dance floor, Jenny gets cracked in the eye and Snooki worries that she will get caught in the crossfire.  Shortly after that Snooki realizes that an engaged, pregnant woman should not be at a club, so the girls leave (with Jenny promising to go harder tomorrow).

The next day is Jenny’s day, and it starts with dolphins! Jenny is amazed by how well trained the dolphins are, because she can’t even potty train her dogs, and all of the girls end up having a great time; even Snooki. That night, Snooki is complaining that Jenny is finally ‘fun’ now that she is pregnant and can’t enjoy it. I’m sorry, did Nicole watch the first season of Jersey Shore? Or any of the seasons? We all know Jenny likes to drink and party it up.

Tempers flare when the girls are ready to go out but Snooki lags behind.  Dinner is awkward because Nicole doesn’t want to go out and isn’t having fun, and because of that all the other girls aren’t having fun with her.  They go back to the hotel to change before the club, and Snooki decides to just stay home. While the other girls are getting ready, Ryder decides to stay in because Snooki was the one who invited her, and Snooki calls her dad crying and saying she might not want to live with Jenny anymore.

Clearly this is all just an overreaction. Nothing could break-up these two besties, and next week we see that drama has once again shifted back to the girls’ relationships with their boys. So obviously their relationship with each other must be fine. I’m not worried. In fact, I’m excited for Jionni and Roger to return. One whole episode without them is too long!
