Okay everyone, I’m so so sorry I missed the premiere last week! I watched it, I really did (I particularly love Jwoww’s comments about kittens being more important than babies.  I feel ya, girl), but things were crazy last week and I couldn’t recap.  This week’s is late, but hopefully in the future that won’t happen! I can’t wait this long into the week to get my S&J fix!

This episode picks up where last week’s premiere left off and Jionni is letting Snooki know that he is super sick and staying at the hospital.  Despite protests from Jionni and his mom, Snooki is determined to go to the hospital and visit him.  She spends the night in the hospital with him and they spend their interview session gushing about how much the care about each other.  These two are for real, y’all. And it is adorable.

Jenni’s hot mess best friend (no, I don’t mean Snooki) is still angered about her confrontation with Roger, but Jenni doesn’t back her.  In fact, she says she is going to be distancing herself from the girl out of respect for her BF.  Clearly girl code only applies to the Snooki/JWoww best friend relationship.

The next day, Snooki’s dad comes over to the house to drop off all the baby gifts from the shower, and Nicole and Jionni are too exhausted to even get out of bed for him.  But after eating some delicious homemade pickles from Jionni’s mom, the happy couple gets to unpacking their gifts.  In the midst of the packages they find some great finds, like a kit to make a mold of Snooki’s belly and a breast pump that Jionni wants to put to work that very night.  Instead they put that mold kit to use and while Snooki thought it was romantic that Jionni was ‘sculpting’ her, he just thought it was a fun night.

Meanwhile, Jenni goes out for some girl talk with her gay Joey and some blonde girl.  Her future engagement to Roger comes up, and Jenni admits that she doesn’t care about the wedding or the engagement, she just wants a giant rock on her hand.  Girl’s got priorities.

So now that rings are on the mind, Jenni goes home and talks about ring shopping with her man. He is feeling the pressure, but he is able to avoid it for now, since they have dinner plans with a couple friend of theirs.  This couple dated for 5 years before they got married and that just puts a damper on Jenni’s plans.  Girl, you keep fighting! Don’t let Roger make you 5 years to get your ring! (Spoiler alert, for anyone who doesn’t read trashy celebrity news: He doesn’t make her wait)

You know who else has their plans get dampened for a hot minute? Snooki and Jionni when they go to the doctor.  During the ultrasound, little Lorenzo isn’t facing the right way and initially the doctor can’t tell if it is really for real a boy.  Luckily after some maneuvering, the kid’s balls do make an appearance and all is well once again.  Everyone is shocked that little Lorenzo is already 6 pounds, and Jenni questions his paternity (all in good fun, of course) while Roger believes that he could take his dad as soon as he is born. LOL these two.  They are made for each other.

Finally halfway through the episode Snooki and JWoww are finally reunited and after enjoying a lunch together, they decide to go ring shopping so Snooki can advise Roger when she pushes him to get around to proposing.  All of the rings Jenni picks are super large and obnoxious and even Snooki thinks they look tacky. You really need to reevaluate your taste when Snooki thinks it is bad.

Later Roger and Jenni head out to Karma, even though its not summer and no one really hangs out there in the off season.  Roger says he is going to get ‘white boy wasted’ and I don’t think I could love him more.  Everything he says is just pure gold. Also, Danny, the owner of the infamous T-Shirt Shop comes out for a few drinks! LOVE Danny! Roger swings him around on his shoulders and shows Danny what he has been missing out on all these years by not going out with his Jersey Shore employees. Poor life choice, Dan, poor choice.

While Roger and Jenni are having a good time, Snooki and Jionni are eating a romantic dinner he made with his mom’s groceries and prepping for the baby teacher that is going to come over and quiz them. Clearly, they need all the help they can get.

A couple days later, Snooki and Jionni head over to Jenni’s to have a couples’ dinner and finally for the first time this season Jionni and Roger are reunited!! Those two, especially when they are together, make this show worth watching.  They are the best. Unfortunately the dinner is cut short because Snooki is uncomfortable and in pain and just wants to get home.  Her pain carries over to the next day when Jionni’s whole family is coming over for Sunday dinner and Snooki can barely get out of bed.  Nicole is realizing that pregnancy is not easy and she is not enjoying it.

But lucky for her next week it all comes to an end as it is finally time for baby Lorenzo to make his appearance!! This moment can’t come soon enough, for Snooki and for us.
