So, normally I wouldn’t post pornography on this website (that’s a weird sentence), but this is just too hilarious. I knew that the New York Giants were playing in this year’s Super Bowl but forgot who they were playing against (so I don’t watch too much football, sue me). To find out, I just googled “Super Bowl 2012” which was stupid for two reasons: (A) I should have googled “Super Bowl XLVI” and (B) because it led me to the following.

On the homepage of Indianapolis’ Super Bowl website, reachable at IndianapolisSuperBowl.com, there is a slideshow of main stories, sort of how we have here on NoWhiteNoise. The first slideshow had a caption that reads: “Free Hotdogs at the Concession Stands!” Except the picture is of a woman… not eating a hot dog.

I’m thinking I was punk’d. This can’t be a real website, can it? It’s a fake website, I tells ya! Well in either case, here’s what I saw (just without a blackout bar):

After laughing and being shocked for five minutes (and refreshing to see if I was crazy or not), I clicked links to see if this was a legit website. It seems it is. So I went back to the homepage and lo and behold, the picture was replaced — but by an image that looks like The Village People performing… which makes, frankly, less sense than this porn picture for the caption. [Update: I just went to the website and it now says “Join the celebration!” instead.]

All in all, hilarious. What can I say, it was a mistake I suppose. It happens to the best of us. But methinks someone might be getting fired at the Super Bowl Indianapolis Host Committee. Or someone was fired and before leaving uploaded that picture!
