Look, Deception, you’re an okay show… relegated to being average for a long time, I’m assuming. It doesn’t matter anymore, because…why should it really? I think what this show suffers from is a bit of Ringer syndrome. If you never watched Ringer, well first of all I urge that you go watch it right now because it is weirdly entertaining. It’s up on Netflix, so make that happen. But if you did watch Ringer, then maybe you know what I’m talking about; I’m talking about the anticlimactic twists you see coming already. Was there anything as yawn-provoking as Edward getting hit on the head with a crowbar (or whatever it was)? I really need Deception to either accept the soap opera within or to somehow find a way to present gravitas.

And how has no one figured out the whole Joanna thing? “He took the car? Did he have Edward’s wallet? Was his keycard there? WHICH WAY WAS HE DRIVING? DID HE HAVE ANY IDENTIFIABLE TATTOOS? THESE ARE TOTAL NORMAL QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK!!!!”

Well, regardless, I’m kind of interested in who murdered Vivian. So ladies and gents, I present the Deception Chart. (Put the image’s URL in your address bar to enlarge.)

Let’s go down the list of reasons of why everyone was charted this way for this episode. First off, we have Robert who has proven for some time now that he is capable of violence and even has people to do his bidding for him. He goes up two spots this week because of his actual act of punching this episode. Edward was so obviously the killer from the beginning… so it’s obviously not him. But this episode we found out that he has amazing blackout abilities; could he have killed without even remembering? He moves up two spots! Will was being targeted as the potential killer for a couple of episodes now, but with new information of where he was the night of the murder, he moves down a spot. Sophia has always been suspect, but this episode she definitely proved she has bark… does she have bite, TOO? Mia, Samantha, and Baby Daddy Ben make no sense for now and never have; they move zero spots. Dwight moves up a spot because he’s creepy. And that leaves us with Kyle/Keith, who was suspicious from his first frame on screen, but we got no more information about him this episode; he moves zero spots, too.

Am I missing a suspect? Maybe the ex-secretary? Is she even a factor anymore? What about Hector, or whatever his name was? Well anyway, if I am, make sure to tell me and make sure to chart them. Who do you think killed Vivian?
