Many people will disagree, but for me, Go On was the best new comedy of the season. It was one of the few comedies that consistently was able to make me at least chuckle, and for that I am grateful. I also think it aired one of the funniest half-hours of this year, the episode where Mr. K pretends he’s Mary Poppins “Ring and a Miss.” Before that, the funniest sitcom episode for me was the first episode of Parks and Recreation in 2012 where Leslie and Co. slip and fall in the ice rink during her campaign.

I will say that the final episode of the season managed to bring the series to a somewhat close, and for that I am grateful. Not many people watched Go On during its latter half, and so I suppose the cancellation news (it was officially axed about an hour ago) shouldn’t come as a surprise. Still, I am shocked as it seriously was one of the shows I’ve looked forward to every week.

I’ve had a bit of a problem ever since Chuck ended in that I don’t have an actual show I really can claim as my favorite. I thought maybe Go On could one day fill in that void, but I guess now… it can just remain with us as a one-hit wonder you never watched. Rest in peace, Go On. You shall be missed.

Which one of you didn’t believe?
