Last season finale of The Vampire Diaries was probably one of the most emotional of the series. Why? Because aunt Jenna was killed by Klaus. (Now that I remember that, I’m starting to have mixed feelings about Klaus again. HE KILLED AUNT JENNA!) Anyway, the good news is that Aunt Jenna is going to be back for the season 3 finale!

Yep, you heard (read) right.

But no, she won’t return as a ghost like Vicki and Anna did or as some other magical creature. As first reported by Zap2it, we will get to see Aunt Jenna, played by the kick-ass Sara Canning, in flashbacks of Elena’s life before her parents’ death.

However, we won’t get to see lots of Elena’s parents. It seems like they will be in only a few scenes in the episode. They will actually be played by local Atlanta actors that none of us will recognize. The casting on this show is pretty much flawless, so I expected her parents to played by two epic guest-stars. But I guess they had a different vision for them. So, yeah. That’s a bummer.

Now, to the other TVD spoiler.

For a few episodes now, Elena and Damon’s relationship has become very… deja vu. It’s like season 1 all over again. They’re arguing like crazy with sparks flying everywhere. It’s fun seeing them like that, but I missed them actually caring about each other AND showing it.

This photo released exclusively by Zap2it yesterday means their bickering will pause for a moment in Thursday night’s episode, “The Murder of One,” as their relationship takes a turn for the better. It’s like she’s assuring him of something or telling him to be strong. Whatever it is, I love it. Wake me up when it’s Thursday night.

Plus, is that Elena Damon’s kissing in the extended promo of tomorrow’s episode? God, you gotta love Canadian promos.

But fear not, Stelena fans! The episode will also feature an overdue confrontation between Stefan and Elena about their relationship. (As seen in the promo above!) I’m also very excited about that.
